Many women battle with hormonal issues such as PMS, heavy periods, painful periods, endometriosis and PCOS. And how many of them end up on oral contraceptives in order to manage the problem.

Karen is a 39 year old women who has tried all forms of exercise and  diet regimes and cannot seem to shift the weight. I have to say her diet was very clean and she was exercising 3 times a week doing a  Get Fit challenge. We decided to investigate further and ran a few blood tests. What we found was a possible estrogen dominance that is quite common in peri-menopuase.

With dietary intervention and supplementation we were able to  start shifting the weight and helping with many of the PMS symptoms that she had just “learnt to live with”.
